I believe that our children are our future and with this in mind, I undertake speaking engagements & hold workshops at schools, colleges and higher education organizations. My talks fit in with various aspects of the curriculum including PSHE, Global Citizenship, Human Rights, Justice, Equality, Rights, Respect and Responsibility (RRR) and Black History. I work with students between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4, Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE). I am able to tailor my talks to individual organizational needs and specific year groups.
I make use of ‘story telling’, and incorporate audio and visual materials. Although the focus of my talks are my own personal story, the session are very interactive with student participation. Students are inspired to believe that successful achievement is possible regardless of race or gender or disability. Students are also challenged to become proactive global citizens who challenge discriminatory behavior. I have current CRB clearance and work extensively throughout the UK including England, Scotland and Wales.
